U.S Educational Foundation In India (USEFI) invites applications for "Fulbright Fellowships" from Indian citizens residing in India. It includes Students, College/university faculty,Researchers,Secondary School Teachers, Law graduates , Policy planners and administrators, and professionals.

FELIX SCHOLARSHIPS (INDIA)

Deadline: 1 March 2007
Eligibility: The scholarships are open to Indian graduates starting a degree at Oxford in October 2007 to read for a taught graduate course or for a Master's degree by research, who would be unable, without financial assistance, to take up their place. Applicants must be under 30 years of age and must have at least a first-class Bachelor's degree from an Indian university or comparable institution. Those who already hold degrees from universities outside India are not eligible to apply. Graduates are expected to return to work in their home country.
Number: Up to six scholarships will be available.
Procedure: Further particulars and an application form for the scholarship may be obtained at www.admin.ox.ac.uk/io. Candidates must apply separately for admission to the University in the first, second or third gathered fields.



THE SCOTTISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS


Deadline: 16 March 2007

Eligibility: Open for residents of China, India, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand or Singapore for Masters Programs in Scotland? The course must be a Masters program of not more than 12 months based in a Scottish institution during the academic year 2007/8. Priority will be given to courses in science and technology and the creative industries.
The Scottish International Scholarship Program is targeted at graduates in science, technology and the creative industries, and aims to create lasting connections between Scotland and industry leaders and entrepreneurs across the world. It is supported by the Scottish Executive's Fresh Talent initiative which aims to encourage bright, talented and hard-working individuals to live, work and study in Scotland.
Number: 22 scholarships for the academic year 2007/8 for courses at any Scottish higher education institution.
